| ˇ§ After the study of 36000 cancer patients in Japan , I realized many women in Japan with cancer ignored the special care (ie: lifestyle, food intake) required for the three critical stages of a women's lifespan: Menstruation, Postpartum care, and Menopause. Upon returning to my home country, I knew I wanted to devote myself to cancer prevention through educating women in Taiwan on how to take care of themselves during their Menstruation, Postpartum care, and Menopause.
I decided to begin with the most critical stage of a woman's lifespan : Postpartum care , the 30-day period immediately after giving birth. My daughter, Dr. Jin Funn Chuang and son-in-law, Dr. Alexander Keh are both doctors in western medicine. I wanted to incorporate the 5000 years of traditional Chinese medicine into the postpartum period for the modern urban women in Taiwan. Under my supervision, we established W Healthcare Group dedicated to educating and caring for women in Taiwan. " |
